School Choir
Choir meets once a week on a Friday lunchtime. It is open to anyone in Key Stage 2 and we are often preparing for concerts that we are taking part in.
This term we are preparing for a Christmas Carol concert that we are organising and taking part in along with the choirs from St Oswald's, Guilden Sutton, Upton Westlea and The Bishop's Blue Coat High School. The concert is taking place on the 15th December at Bishop's High School.

SING THE CHRISTMAS STORY 2022
On the 1st December 2022, we took the choir to Sing the Christmas Story at St Thomas and All Saints Church in Ellesmere Port.
We listened to the Christmas Story and sang songs with the other schools there. We also performed the song 'Unto Us' for the other schools. The choir were amazing and sang beautifully.
A special thank you to Mrs Newton, Mrs Howard and Mrs Hand for coming with us and helping make sure the children were safe.
PAST SINGING EXPERIENCES
We have been involved in a number of fantastic singing projects recently, including:
-singing at the StoryHouse theatre along with lots of other schools for the AmaSing concert;
-singing at Liverpool Cathedral with over 300 other people to open the Educate Awards.
-singing at Chester Cathedral every year with schools from around the county, re-telling the Christmas story in song
-singing with the choirs from St Oswald’s School in Mollington, Guilden Sutton Primary School, Upton Westlea Primary School and The Bishop's Blue Coat High School to raise money for the children in Zambia.
-singing for the older members of our local community as part of their special Christmas lunch
-singing at a special 25th anniversary of a group that meets in the Scout Hut
-performing a special concert at the request of the Lord Mayor.
We sing lots of songs, including requests from the children, popular music, songs from films and songs that link to our school termly values. If your child is interested in joining choir then all they need to do is speak to Mrs Fabby.
