4th Place in National Dance Competition

The Great Big Dance Off - National Finals 2017.

Wow! What an amazing experience our Year 5/6 dance Squad had when they competed in the National Dance Finals of 'The Great Big Dance Off' on Monday 19th June.

#SAS Dance Squad travelled to Oxford to perform at The New Theatre with over 600 pupils from schools across the UK. The children danced their hearts out and were judged against 31 other schools in the finals. It was a nervous wait for the results to come in, with only the top 5 schools being announced. We were incredibly proud to be one of those schools with the judging panel placing '#SAS Dance Squad' in an incredible 4th place overall and the top placed Street Dance in the UK.

This was an amazing experience and something that we are phenomenally proud of. All of the children's hard work really paid off and we would all like to say a special a 'Great Big Thankyou' to Jules at House of Dance for being simply amazing and for working so hard with the children over the last few months.
