Autumn term reviewed:

Cross country Saturday morning x-country events have been well attended by children in y3-6 who wanted to represent the school at a sporting event. This has been very much an inclusive event giving any child who wanted to compete in a competitive sporting experience the chance to do so.

Tag Rugby Year 5/6 A team became Chester Schools Champions and are now looking forward to representing Chester in the Cheshire County Finals in March 2020.

Tag Rugby Y5/6 B team won all of their games in the B team competition to become overall champions in the B competition.

Hockey Y5/6 a phenomenal effort from our hockey players who competed in their first ever hockey competition and finished 2nd in their group.

Girls Basketball Our y5/6 girls basketball team attended the first ever Chester Schools Girls basketball competition and played superbly t come away winning all of their games! A real achievement.

Y1 and Y2 multi skills festival Some of our younger children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to take part in a multi skills festival at EPSV learning skills that will prepare them for our SAS future sports teams!

KS2 multi sports festival Some of our children from across KS2 had the opportunity to take part in an inclusive morning of sport where they played games such as wheelchair basketball, Bocia, and sitting volleyball.

Y5/6 netball league The netball team played in a round robin league competition winning 5 out of their 6 games. What a great start to their season.

Y5/6 boys football After a shaky first match, the boys have since put in some solid performances in the league and cup and took their first wins in a recent tournament at Chester Goals.

Girls football The girls have got off to a flying start to their season winning the first round of the Chester Cup, and winning 1 out of their 2 first league games.
